Installation requirements vtenext 23.08

1. Minimum Hardware Requirements:

RAM: 2 GB Hard Disk: 20 GB Processor: 2 GHz dual-core

2. Recommended Hardware Requirements:

RAM: 4 GB Hard Disk: 80 GB Processor: 2 GHz quad-core

3. Recommended Operating System:

The recommended operating system for installing vtenext is Ubuntu 20.04 LTS 64-bit Server. On this system, the CRM installs out-of-the-box without the need for specific configurations, except for setting up the parameters in the php.ini file as indicated by the vtenext setup wizard.

4. Requirements for other Linux operating systems:

E’ possibile installare vtenext anche su altri sistemi operativi Linux, in particolare devono essere presenti:

php 7.4 mysql 5.x, 8.0 apache 2 >= 2.4.13 / nginx

5. Required PHP modules:

curl gd imagick imap json ldap mbstring mysql xml zlib zip

6. Optional PHP modules:

apcu bcmath

If connectivity to other databases is required, such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, it's necessary to prepare the required libraries (in the case of Ubuntu, php-sybase* and oci8 libraries). Therefore, it is advisable to have the vtenext application reside on the machine installed with Linux and connect to the Microsoft SQL Server database, naturally installed on a Windows system.

*Sybase libraries are not available from PHP version 7 onwards. For interfacing with SQL Server using this PHP version, refer to the dedicated manual.
